A reclusive photographer finds himself confronted with a disturbing reality, after he becomes obsessed with following a young woman. Should he act and risk being discovered?
Director’s Statement
We can all admit to having behaved like Sebastian; watching without actually taking part in life. We all look at images of people online and find ourselves filling in the gaps of the story of their life, but it can be very easy to misinterpret what we see and often we only see what we want to anyway. The danger – is that we lose touch with reality. After all, the ability to reinvent ourselves and airbrush our life’s inconveniences is the intoxicating appeal of life online. The idea was to draw attention to this by bringing it into the real world and making the voyeurism a physical act, which immediately makes it feel more dangerous and much less acceptable.
