An intelligence agent spying on a nearby apartment building gets his observations terribly wrong.
Director’s Statement
Alexander (Geoffrey McGivern) is a state-surveillance agent covered by a layer of dust. As part of his duties to collect a sizeable retirement package, he begrudgingly operates a high tech telescope-spy-thingy to peer on an adjacent block of flats. As he goes from flat to flat, and despite the inhabitants doing completely normal things; he drifts off into his own universe, ultimately getting something completely simple, entirely wrong.
Mixed into his observations are psychedelic daydreams; pataphorical fizzles, which take each and every apartments’ setting into a whole new universe. Told in a quirky and tongue-in-cheek way, the drama comments on data protection and privacy in modern society.
