Tales of the ‘One In Ten’ is a social awareness campaign which explores the use of storytelling through animation. This web series is based on the real stories of Australian children from disadvantaged backgrounds who struggle daily with the effects of financial hardship. ‘Alice & The Giant Emptiness’ is the first short film from the animated series.

The stories you see are drawn from the case studies provided by children’s education charity, The Smith Family, who regularly come across challenging but also inspiring stories of children as they support them overcoming adversity.
